I am running into an issue similar to the one I explained here.

This time the problem manifests when there is a comment on a post with a subtitle. I have un-approved the comments so it is invisible on my site at the moment, but I can re-approve them temporarily if you need to see what’s happening. If that’s the case, I’d appreciate if we can set a window to do that so I don’t have to have my site showing a bug to the world for an extended period.

    Thanks!
    Joe

Sorry, I think we have a time difference that may cause my initial hope to be impractical.
I went ahead and made the error show up on my site (joefessenden.com). It is visible on the first post. It ended up duplicating the subtitle and adding some garbage code (formatting characters).

Please let me know after you see it and gather the data you need so I can hide away those comments for now.

Are you saying that you’ve checked disabling the Subtitles plugin?

The line showing ">comment2 is a symptom of unaligned <> in the HTML somewhere so check your HTML is OK

I know that the problem is a conflict between the theme and the plugin already. I am blaming the theme at this point because it is MOST likely the same as the other bug to which I referred in the initial message. That is, there is probably another place that is using the wrong command to get some title attribute.

    Thanks,
    Joe

    Thanks, nikeo.

It looks like this solves it. Hopefully there won’t be more, but I’ll let you know if I run into others.
