Bug in “Hide Admin Notices”

    Hi There are some issues with this functionality in Admin Interface>Hide Admin Notices.

    1. In Plugin Section-The Plugins which available for update is also hidden.
    2. In Theme File Editor- When I edit any code in theme editor and try to save-nothing happens which means even “File Updated Successfully” message also being hidden. So i have to reload the page again whether the code is saved or not.
    3. The Notices section in top bar- Sometimes it disappears in many admin pages.
    4. Is there any possibility for these hide admin notice setting to make work only in specific admin functions, Ex: No need to hide plugin update available notice but it can hide some annoying notices which will be available on to on every admin page screenshot attached https://prnt.sc/lIFYanJYTbHU

  • Plugin update messages disappear when the “Admin Notices” option is activated.

    Besides, we could perhaps have a function to block updates

    @venkeyaccent @dmdeck thank you for reporting. This has been fixed for the next release.

    @dmdeck there’s already the “Disable Components >> DIsable All Updates” module to block updates.
