  • Hi @yan

We have made it available via a short code now. Please use the shortcode [cookie_reject] where you want to display the Reject button on your website. Full list of shortcodes can be obtained from Cookie Law Settings > Help Guide

Why have you done this? It’s crazy.
Do we have to put the short code on every page on the website?
How do we put it in the message bar?

    OK. Got it.
Still don’t see the point of the change.

    Hi @lawriem1,

We have removed the reject button option and implemented the Reject button using a shortcode so that it gives more control to the admins in terms of where they want to add the Reject button on the website. This is already available in the premium version which we have included in the basic as well for better control.

You can use it pretty much like the other shortcodes currently available in the basic version especially in the message bar, like “[cookie_link]” which adds the read more link.

However, we will be releasing a new update of the plugin in a day or two that will help you retain your earlier reject button settings without you having to make the changes on all of your websites via the newly introduced shortcode.

    OK thanks.
Well done on your response time for support.
