Bug: Invalid email address and Securely Save to Account

If I use an invalid e-mail during new customer checkout I get the generic error message, checking the log I see: provided value for
email_address
is invalid.But correcting the e-mail address doesn’t change anything if “Securely Save to Account” is checked on first and next attempts, including the logs, it gets stuck in the first e-mail.
The only way to correct this is unchecking “Securely Save to Account” and not saving the credit card data.
Using sandbox mode.
