Bug: Items in drop-down selection have characters escaped (addition data)

With the additional data plugin, create a dropdown selection type and enter some items that include characters that might be escaped, e.g. ‘ or \. When you click save, the text boxes are re-populated with escaped versions of the characters, e.g. \’ or \\. These escaped versions will also be shown during the payment process.
