    Hi!

I’m banging my head on the table after hours of useless time-wasting. It seems I came across a bug in Intergeo Maps, concerning the custom markers.

I set a bunch of markers and saved the map. After saving, I wanted to add some new markers but when saving them also, some markers get overwritten.

It seems that newly added markers at creation receive a data-position that already exists! For instance: A marker, usually starting with the name of like “#17 marker”, receives data-position=17, but that does already exist. And when saving, the already existing markers get overwritten. Boom, and this screws up everything!

Hope you can fix this quickly! I think it’s a JavaScript problem, not calculating the new positions right.

    Thanks!

  • Hey,

I’m not able to replicate the issue. Could you please tell us the exact steps to do it ?

    Thank you !

Well actually and unfortunately I can’t, I’m on an incredibly slooooooow Internet connection right now … Not able to download a single tile of a Google map.

I can only repeat myself: I added markers, saved/updated the map, later wanted to edit the map by adding new markers, and after saving/updating the map again, older markers have vanished.

Maybe this problem starts to occur when having more than ten markers?

For now I worked around this issue, by placing one time like 100 markes on Antarctica (where they don’t hurt nobody), to have some available for future usage; so that I hopefully do not have to ever create new ones, because older ones will get overwritten then.

Maybe you can test this out more, I’m not hallucinating: markes did vanish. Multiple times. And I saw it in the html-tags generated by JS: the “data-position” of a new marker received a value already present; this has to become a mess when processing this array afterwards and adding it to the database. These already present do get overwritten this way.

    Thanks again

Hi, I am having the same issue, after 18 markers added the 10 is missing, when I try adding a new one the 19th it get as if it was marker 18 and rewrites it. I notice this happening only on this map. I tried creating another map and adding several markers it works, only on this one this happened, any ideas or news about this issue?

    Hello,

Thank you for reporting this. We will run some tests and release a fix if necessary.

    have a nice day !

I have the same issue. We added a couple hundred markers and now most of the markers went missing and scrambled and overwritten. Seems like a major bug. So much time wasted ??

Exactly the same happened to me 2min ago. That’s incredibly frustrating.
