Bug on banner asking for review.

    This plugin is genereted a sticky banner asking for review that i cannot remove by pressing the close buttom and not even after removing the plugin. Help me to solve this and i’ll update the review.

    Hi @matinhas , we are really sorry for the inconvenience.

    As you mentioned, the issue you are facing is that the sticky banner for our plugin Review is not getting removed even if you deactivate the plugin.

    Now, this is something that should not be happening.

    We presume, in your case, there could be two possible reasons why this happened:

    • There could be a JS conflict with another plugin.
    • This could be due to caching – maybe you are using a caching plugin or have server caching set up.

    So, here’s what we suggest could solve this issue for you:

    1. Update our plugin and try clicking on the cross button or the ‘Already did’ button and see if the banner goes away.
    2. If the banner is still there, you may clear any browser, website, or server cache you have and see if it goes away.
    3. If it still does not go away, then you may collect the console errors for the banner and send it to us, and we may try to detect any possible JS issues.

    Meanwhile, we also improved our plugin and released an update. Hopefully, any such issues should not happen with the plugin’s review banner anymore.
