BUG: Pages being posted under categories!

    Looks like wordpress assigns “default post category” to your PAGES… Even though the page editing/posting screen does not give you the ability to alter the category.

    This, combined with various access-control plugins can make it so that your pages (as opposed to posts) aren’t visible to visitors.

    Can we get category control over pages, or have wordpress not assign the default?
