• Usually I use Vivaldi Browser. (Chrominum basis)
When working in this browser, this plugin does not save my settings.
When I press the “save” button, nothing happens.

I had to switch to Edge, then it worked.

Is this bug know? It should be adressed.

    Hi @kap7,

Thanks for contacting us regarding the issue.

We have checked the issue on Vivaldi browser 4.2.2406.54 on our end but couldn’t replicate the issue. Plugin’s settings are being saved correctly as expected. We have attached a screenshot for reference here.

Can you let us know which version of the Vivaldi browser you are using? That would help us in further debugging the issue.

    Thank you for your coordination.

    Hi.
    Thanks for responding.
I use the latest Version [4.2.2406.54 (Stable channel) (64-Bit)] since Vivaldi got auto-update for the browser.

I tried to deactivate some browser add-ons (adblock, cookie-popup-block), but that doesn’t resolve the issue.

Very strange. I wonder what could be the cause of the bug.

    Hi @kap7,

    Thanks for the update.

The issue seems to be strange. Can you please check if there isn’t any JavaScript error in the browser’s console while saving the plugin’s settings?

Also, it may happen due to plugin conflict. Can you please check for the issue with only the Email Subscribers plugin active? To assists you in the debugging, you can also install and activate Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin which will deactivate plugins only for you without affecting other site users.

Let us know what comes out in your debugging or if you have any further queries.

    Thank you.

(tried to click the save button 4 times, that’s why we got 4 red warnings)

Update: I also tried using the health check plugin in problem solving mode and everything but EMail Subscribers deactivated. Exactly the same happens.

    Hi @kap7,

Thanks for checking the issue further and sharing the screenshots with us.

From them, it seems there are some form validation errors triggered when someone tries to save settings.

We have again tried to replicate the issue at our end but without any success.

We may need to debug the issue on your site. Will it be possible for you to allow us to check for the issue directly on your site? You can contact us here and we can continue our discussion from there.

Thank you for your support and coordination in resolving the issue.
