Bug? post sent when override checked

I just published a Post with the override function (‘Check here to disable sending of an email notification for this post/page’) checked, and still an email went out to subscribers.

I’m unable to reproduce your issue that way.
If I create a brand new post with a title and some basic content and then check the box to suppress the email, save as draft and finally publish – no emails are generated.
Mind you I’m using my updated and more painted version available here:
