Are you using the WP All Export and WP All Import plugins to make the export and import of your products?

If so, it is most likely the issue is related to the plugins you are using to make the export/import. One way to be sure, is to use the core Product CSV Importer and Exporter functionality found under Products → All products and check if the issue persists.

And why do your refer to WP All Import? The products already contained the attributes in Woo for a while as the import was done a weeka ago. So you mean to say that when I see the Attributes existing in the product, after using WP ALl Import, that there are different levels of … stickiness of the attribute to the product? ??

Looks more like marketing to me, promoting Woo’s own importer over WP All Import/ Export. The latter have infinite more options and are very solid, you should try it some time ??

In case one of your colleagues want to inquire more serious, I made a staging version of the site. Just weird that all the atributes were gone, looks like after disabling cache.

We recommend you keep WooCommerce and WordPress up to date, as well as all your plugins since some issues you might have could be resolved on newer versions.

It seems I misunderstood your query; I thought this was happening at the moment of the import.

In this case, please try regenerating product lookup tables to see if it helps to solve the issue. You can do this in:

– WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Product lookup tables > Regenerate
– WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Regenerate the product attributes lookup table > Regenerate

If the issue persists, kindly share a URL to your staging site to further check, along with a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).

You can redact all the sensitive details if you want to share them with us. Chances are that this can give us some hints about what’s going on!

Also, while we are checking your System Status Reports we found out that you’re using the WPML v4.5.8 which is supposed to fix an issue with the product attributes.

I believe we were asking for a staging URL to open up and check items out on – not necessarily logging into the back end of the site. For the logs, we are looking for a specific error so if you go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and check to see if any fatals, or other errors appear that can be shared.

For the variations, while they may not be applicable to the bug directly that was reported, it is possible they are related to WPML since there was something very similar to have been found. Have you reached out to WPML regarding this? Do let us know!

What you gave us is your System Status Report. You can find logs in another tab under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Can you see any fatal errors or any other error that may be related?
