    Hello everyone. ??

    I am trying to log in to my dashboard since this morning. But I could not because my IP has been flagged for potential security violations…

    I did rename the file throught the FTP Client and could log in this time.

    But the fact is, my IP changes every time. So even if I give my actual IP, a new one appears a few seconds later. So it’s impossible to whitelist any.

    I must tell that a friend of mine, as he lives far away from me, had the same message “Your IP has been flagged for potential security violations…”

    So I still can’t log in unless I disable Protect.

    Just to let you know, I am also using Windows Live Writer. Though I don’t think this will be the trouble.

    I’ve got exactely the same problem. I did the same things that you have done and i’ve got the same results.

    I updated last version, and i still got this problem.

    I don’t use Windows Live Writer.

    I believe you’re running into the issue because of a configuration problem on your OVH server. I contacted OVH a few days ago to let them know about the issue, and I’m waiting for a reply from them right now.

    Until they fix the issue, I’ve made some changes to your Jetpack settings to work around the problem. You should be all set now!

    I have got the same problem.
    The bug is still alive on Jetpack for OVH.
    Do you know if they plan to solve this issue ? And when ?
    I cannot use anymore Jetpack. It is a pity.

    @lebonmanager It is indeed still an issue, and I’m still waiting for a reply from OVH on this.

    That said, I can change your Jetpack settings to solve the issue on your site, like I did above. I would need to know your site URL though.

    @lebonmanager I’ve updated your Jetpack settings, you should be able to use Protect again in an hour or so.

    OVH will still need to solve the issue, though. If you’d like, you can contact them about it and mention this forum thread as well as the ticket number #9232651523 (that’s my ticket number with them, so they’ll know more about the problem by looking at that ticket in their system).

    I just saw that you could update the Jetpack settings.

    Actually I’m still locked out and my IP adress still doesn’t work…

    Is it possible to do the same to mine please ? ??

    To be honest I have never seen a software team operating as fast as yours !!!

    Well I just tried and I am still locked out. I think the problem must come from my computer or something else. I don’t know where to start… Just in case, do you have any idea ? ??

    That’s weird. I’d need more info to find out what’s going on. Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1. Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2. Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3. Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4. Fill in the description box (you can include a link to this thread) and your name and email address.
    5. Click the “Contact Support” button to send us the debug results privately. It’s best not to post this information on public forums, as it contains private details about your site.
