Bug: Protect refuses to be deactivated

  • Hello guys, I’ve noticed this issue in several WP sites using the plugin. Once activated, Protect module won’t deactivate no matter how many times you try.

    When you touch the switch to deactivate Protect, you receive the green message saying it has been deactivated, but if you reload the configuration url (https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack#/security) it will still show as active. And if you go to the Dashboard, it will still show in the WP Stats box. So, it refuses to be deactivated. Gosh.

    Can you fix this please?

    Thanks for the report! I’ve been unable to reproduce this issue. Could you temporarily disable all other plugins on your site, and see if the issue is resolved? If it is, try enabling them one at a time to determine which one is responsible for the trouble.
