This follows up on this tweet.

I discovered this bug on a client site and then recreated it on another install using only WordPress 5.6, The Events Calendar 5.3.2.1, Yoast SEO 15.7, and Twenty Twenty-One.

    To reproduce:

    1. Create an Event
    2. Edit the event with Quick Edit
    3. Change something about the event (add a category, change status, etc.) and click “Update”

Result: The event’s start and end dates move into the first two Yoast SEO-related admin columns. All remaining Yoast SEO column data is pushed into subsequent columns. Here’s another screenshot showing the result.

We are sorry to hear that you’re having a conflict between the Events Calendar and Yoast SEO plugins. We appreciate you for bringing this to our attention and providing the step by step guide. We were able to reproduce the issue on our end.

While we are not sure whether it’s a bug specific to the Events Calendar plugin or Yoast SEO, our development team will be more than happy to take a look at it. In this case, we recommend you please submit a bug report directly at our GitHub development repository. We actively track feature requests and bug reports on there.

In addition, if you have a spare moment, please do feel free to forward the relevant bug report to the Events Calendar plugin development team as well so they can look into this further, too.

    Have a great day!
