BUG: Removing all pages / posts / categories results in 404s w/in administration

  • Just installed WP 3.0 on my own site, from clean, blank, directory. Setup went fine and all was well.

    I logged in using admin account, and removed the “hello world” post. 404 error. got back in to administration, the post is gone. I go to “Posts” and get another 404. I can create new, however, using the “new post” link w/o issue.

    Likewise, Go to pages and delete the pre-fab “About” page – 404 error. Can get back in to administration and add new page via the add page link, but get another 404 if i click the “Pages” link

    Continue this pattern through the other various areas of administration.
