    I am reporting a bug. When someone entered a date on the website form, an error message said “wrong date format”. I changed the date field setting from “default” to MM/DD/YYYY and that fixed the problem. The default setting format is DD/MM/YYYY and that caused the error.

    This occurs after updating from Ninja Forms version 3.6.7 to 3.6.9
    Haven’t tried changing the date format because I need DD/MM/YYYY.

    Is there a solution in which the dateformat DD/MM/YYYY works ?

    WP version: 5.9.3
    Ninja Forms 3.6.9 ( date field works correct in 3.6.7.)

    This bug report is 2 weeks old, but it seems to break forms after the update with no user intervention. Is there a way to globally fix this?

    I don’t know if this is connected or not, but with the ‘Default To Current Date’ turned on, my forms are not being submitted (or saved) when the date is left untouched, but I am also not getting any errors. If I turn off the ‘Default To Current Date’ setting the user must select a date, and the form is submitted and saved. This is using the 3.6.7 version, as I had to roll back because of the bug reported here and in a couple of other threads, because I too want to use the DD/MM/YYYY format. I hope that problem gets fixed so I can then see if this possibly connected issue goes away.

    Is there still no resolution to this? I have a site affected that I have been unable to update for 2 months due to this issue. Switching date formats is of no help.

    I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing this. Can you update your Ninja Forms plugin to the latest version 3.6.12 and see if you are having the same issue?
