    Hello!

First, please know I left a positive review some time ago. I know this plugin is great!

But, I noticed a bug and it took me quite a while to diagnose, so I thought I’d better report it. It could definitely be down to conflicts with other plugins/themes or who knows.

Earlier this week I noticed that all of the plugins on one of my sites showed as updated, with no updates available. But, I noticed that the version numbers of some plugins were definitely out of date. I compared version numbers with other sites and indeed, many plugins were out-of-date.

After re-installing WP core manually and manually deactivating, deleting, adding and activating a number of plugins and themes, I found that the issue came down to WP Custom Admin Interface. When I disabled this plugin, I was only then able to see that many plugins required updating, and I was then able to update them. When I re-enabled this plugin, I was again not able to see available updates for plugins, nor was I able to update those out-of-date plugins.

I have not yet had any more time to dig through to figure out other conflicts. I spent a few days trying to figure this one out, so I’m just relieved to have found the problem. When I have time to do more digging, if I find anything I’ll definitely report back!

Updating WP Custom Admin Interface to the latest version (7.26 / August 2021) did not rectify the issue.

And at least now you know there may be a problem.

Thanks for the hard work – great plugin!

    Hi @delaner,

Thanks for your message. This just sounds like you have enabled that setting. Please go to the General Settings tab and scroll to the bottom and uncheck “Disable Plugin Updates”. What you described is exactly what that setting is supposed to do ??

    Thanks,
