• Hi,
found a problem when trying to create or edit an event. Whenever I’m in the backend trying to select an input with a datepicker, it briefly flashes the datepicker and selects the input. After clicking the focused input again, the datepicker shows up correctly. Would be great if the picker just stays there on the first click.

Inspector shows that the picker__input–active class gets added for a split second and gets removed again. Maybe there is a custom bound focus event on the inputs? Not really sure tho just an idea.

Can’t really provide a link as it’s a local dev environment. If you need it I can try to get a screenrecording of whats happening.

  • Hi Joe,

I’m having the same issue, which is big usability issue for the non-techie users I’ll be setting this plugin up for.

I can provide access to a dev/sandbox environment if required.

Would love to get a solution for this, as it’s the only roadblock to using this great plugin.

    Thanks.

As far as I know, this is primarily an issue with Chrome; but if you’re having this issue in Firefox, let me know. I don’t know exactly what causes it, but my long-term goal is to get rid of or replace the date selector entirely, so fixing this isn’t a major focus right now.

I’m upgrading the datepicker to a more recent version in the upcoming major release of My Calendar; might fix this issue.

I just tested it in Firefox, and you’re right, it’s not flickering in that browser.

Thanks for the update and I look forward to the next major release.
