Hello,

Please check this thread where I describe the issue and how I fix it.

I’m using SEOPress on quite a few web sites where I’m using images coming from Custom HTML codes. See below the issue:

With SEOPress, you get adisplay bug:
You can see the weird image icon circled in red saying there is a missing image (which is not true).

Without SEOPress, it works fine.

Can you please confirm how to fix this?
If it can’t be fixed I will remove SEOPress all my web sites since I cannot provide such an experience to my visitors.

Hi,

can you do a right click on the missing image (ie: the weird icon), then Inspect element with your browser please? Then, take a screenshot of what you see from the debug tool, Elements tab.

Or, if possible, create a staging site with the issue so we can check the source code.

I’m a non-coder user.
What should I do from there?
Wait for you to come up with a patch?

I shared all the details I could here and the issue only happens when enabling SEOPress. I tested it on several web sites using different themes.

Try to go to SEO, Advanced, Image SEO and uncheck “Automatically set the image Alt text from target keywords” option.

Save changes and clear your cache.

Is it better?

I unchecked the last option on the screenshot.

It worked for most images but I still have an issue with those 2 images.
