I am trying to create an email using the “? Smart Tag” button and I get a bunch of “Unknown Field” tags when I insert it.

The Tags seem to work in other areas of the email form (e.g., Send Email To and Subject). And the “Field Summary” template also works when inserted into the email.

If I try and leave it with “Unknown Field” the form errors out on submission.

This is a multi-step form if that matters.

Is there a work around for this?

    Hello!

Please update the plugin, the new version let you use formulas within conditions.

I’m still getting “Unknown Field” for Smart Tags even when I pick them from the selector. This happens both in the Email body as well if I use the formula creator on something like the Repeater.

Okay. I think I have this narrowed down. For a multi-page form, I don’t get the “unknown” field issue if the field is ON the same page. If it’s on a previous page, it does not work.

This also seems to mean that when I go to the email part, I get “unknown” for almost everything.

And, maybe even more importantly, it also seems to be limited by the “Repeater Field.” I can get values WITHIN the same repeater. But I cannot get a value from outside the repeater.

So, in my form, I have:

    Family Size (numeric).
Repeater, repeat number of times equal to Family Size.

When I select “Family Size” in the formula, I get “Unknown.”

Now, here’s the weird part: if I set the repeater number of times to a field INSIDE the repeater, it works no issue.

One more piece of information: if using grouping panels, it also seems to block the access to values in previous grouping panels.

The issue is the GROUP FIELD!

All of the issues occur if you use a GROUP FIELD. If I remove them all, I can do everything just fine! Emails and Repeater values, etc.

Oh got it, thanks for checking it. A new release will be done today fixing the issue.

    Regards!
