BUG: Twitter authorisation not working after upgrade

  • After installing the latest version of Tweet Blender, version 4.0.1. the Twitter Authorization is not working correct. I have done the following steps:

    1. De-install the previous version of Tweet Blender (as this was causing issues with the NEW twitter API version)
    2. Install the new version of Tweet Blender
    3. Open up the options page and select the tab ‘Status’
    4. Set up oAuth keys by clicking the link to Twitter
    5. Authorize the app by clicking the big green button

    I expect to get an authorization, but in stead of this the system (popup window) does not doe anything, only showing the link to the server as followed:

    callback.php?oauth_token=rMG6jjgErvUt0PhrpY8xxxxxMFjpz69uZTy0uW4Lg&oauth_verifier=On66e0qQzreju8CVLxxxxxQYoL4xc3fQc12hRtgjt8

    Does anyone has the same problems and can anyone help me solving this problem?

  • I have the same problem. No support? This really is a shitty plugin

    cptweb: chill out. This was an awesome plugin, been using it for years but I can confirm it is currently broken since Twitter, again, updated their authcode stuff ??

    Feel free to move along to another plugin but no reason to call it shitty!

    I agree with Ovidiu it was an awesome plugin; and the only Twitter feed plugin on WordPress that I’d found that would work on Heart Internet. :/ If anyone reading this knows of another I’d be keen to know.
