Bug: unable to choose a secondary page as wishlist so link not working

This has been fixed in version 2.0.5

Well its not fixed. Although it supports subpages now, the link is not made correctly, because its missing a / on the URL after the page:
Ex.

https://www.domain.com/shop/wishlistview/VI15JTFKMLUX/

It should be:
https://www.domain.com/shop/wishlist/view/VI15JTFKMLUX/

This bug is also present even if the page in a main page, so its a bug introduced in 2.0.5 version!

So basically in 2.0.5 with this bug, the plugin doesn’t work!

Thanks for reporting us the child page problem; we fixed it in 2.0.5 version due to your report.

For the wrong url problem, please check that your permalink configuration ends with a “/” character, in Dashboard->Settings->Permalinks

It should be something like that:

/%postname%/

If you don’t set the trailing slash, wordpress will set use_trailing_slashes property of class WP_Rewrite to false, and won’t redirect to url with the correct trailing slash;

Anyway, we will pass wishlist permalink to trailingslashit() in the next update, to prevent similar problem

Hi, and thanks for your answer! I already posted this on the other post, but here it is again ??

I added the “/” to the end of the permalink and i can see in the URL that the slash (/) is appearing now.

However after some more testing i found that the URL is still not working with a subpage.

For you to better understand here is what i found:
https://www.domain.com/shop/wishlist/view/VI15JTFKMLUX/ – Doesn’t work
https://www.domain.com/shop/wishlist/view/ – Doesn’t work
https://www.domain.com/shop/wishlist/ – Works

So as you can see the plugin still has problems with subpages ??

Permalink of look /%postname%/ solve a problem.
But..I wait for updating of the version:) Thanks!

@filipe It seems a permalink issue; can you please try to select a child page as wishlist page, and then to regenerate you permalinks, visiting WP Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks, and saving your configuration?

Remember to save permalink settings when wishlist page configuration is final

Thanks for the answer, i have done what you said:
1- Changed my page to a child page
2- Went to YITH Wishlist options and made sure the page was selected and saved
3- Went to permalink options and saved again

And now it works fine! Its strange however that i have to go to the permalink options after i changed the page on YITH Wishlist, but at least its working! ??

I have made Portuguese translations for some of your free plugins i’m using, how can i submit them?
