Bug: Undefined variable notice for product_badge_new_text

Would it be possible to remove or uncomment (in php!) line 260 in woocommerce-product-badge/wc-product-badge.php?

It always throws an because you only commented the HTML:
Undefined variable: product_badge_new_text in woocommerce-product-badge/wc-product-badge.php on line 260
