Bug when Modern Events Calender and email encoder are activated

  • Check the bottom area here:
    https://opsalgard.no/

    and the dev site where I switched over til Twenty Twenty Two here:
    https://bluewinddesign.com/ (turned off email encoder and the bottom area looks like it should)

    In the last month or so there has suddenly turned up an Modern Event Calendar part of an event below the footer of the main site https://opsalgard.no/

    What can I do in the settings of Email Encoder to remove this additional bottom partly added event? As deactivating Email Encoder the bug is also removed. So it seems like a mix of Email Encoder and Modern Events Calendar is not working these days.

    Btw I adjusted Protect emails using:
    automatically the best method (excluding javascript)

    It removed the bottom bug info.

    Is there information that I should share with the Modern Events Calendar team about this bug?

    Hey @paaljoachim – Thanks for the message. I just checked the pages and they seemed fine for me. What did the extra footer contain?

    It contained part of a (post) event.

    I went to Settings -> Email Encoder.
    (Changed to) Protect emails using: automatically the best method (excluding javascript)
    This excluded the javascript with the result of removing the partial event text information seen in the footer.

    I will go ahead and close this issue as well.
