Bug with Custom Amount Minimum due to ,/. confusion on FR locale

    There is a quite problematic bug happening with the “Custom Amount Minimum” in the Give plugin when used on a locale that has another convention for the decimals, such as the FR-fr locale, where , is used for decimals and . for thousands. The correct character is set and the Custom Amount Minimum is set to 1,00 (and correctly interpreted in the Admin panel as 1 €). But when somebody tries to set a Custom Amount under 100 (e.g. 15), an error message appears saying the Amount Minimum is set at 100,00 €! Which is quite problematic (gives a false impression to the donators that we ask for a lot!)

    I have the same problem

    To reproduce the error, create a give form and only activate the “user can change amount” otpion then publish it

    When you directly fill the form about the name and email and you directly click on donate that works, but … if you whant to change the amount from 1 to 10 for example, you will see a little info box bellow : ?The minimum donation amount for this form is 100,00 CHF

    PS : i’ve found a trick, thats works for me, try to put numbers without any separator on the give form and also (!important) put a zero on the custom amount, then save, you will have a custum amount of 1,00 but dont take care, go to your form and … you will have it working after that.

    But it will be appreciated if the devs fixes this by the official way ??

    Hey guys – Update for you: I’ve fixed the issue and it will be released in 1.4.2 – for now, use @shetanus’ trick or disable the minimum amount capability until updating.
