"Bug" with the rich snippets

Hi, I have a recipe site in wordpress and I’ve been having a problem with this plugin and the rich snippets, because the type of posts I create are recipe types (https://schema.org/recipe) and this plugin “overwrite” my snippets and make Google believe it is an article (because the plugin appears at the end of the post). Is there any way to disable rich snippet generation without having to alter the plugin so I can continue udpdating it? At this time I’m getting the result of the_ratings() on a variable and str_replace all the rich snippets code but it’s kind of annoying. There should be an option in the plugin that can disable the entrance of this snippets.
