When I have YOAST Seo and Easy Table of Contents plugins active, I miss a translation of some strings to Russian. These strings are:
When I paste the image, strings
– Drag an image, upload a new one or select a file from your library.
– Upload
– Media Library
– Insert from URL
Adding new block, strings:
– Most used
– Reusable
Block menu:
– More rich text controls button
– More options button: Duplicate, Insert Before, Insert After, Edit as HTML, Add to Reusable Block, Remove block

The problem appears only if I have the 2 plugins above activated. Polylang writes that 100% strings are translated in both plugins.

Can you please share the relevant strings again as we are not seeing them in your query so that we can investigate it further?

I don’t understand what exactly can’t you see? I wrote about all the problem strings in my first message in this topic.

When you disable Yoast SEO, does that resolve the issue?

Yes, or if I disable Easy Table of Contents. The issue appears only if two plugins are activated.

Hi,

We were not able to reproduce this issue with WordPress v5.2.2, Yoast SEO v11.5, Easy Table of Contents v1.7, and Polylang 2.5.4. See image: https://pasteboard.co/Il3dK36.png

We created a Russian Post and added in a paragraph and image blocks and the strings were translated. See images: https://pasteboard.co/Il3dPNr.png and ahttps://pasteboard.co/Il3dTJQ.png,

We ask that you please make sure all are updated (we released a new version of Yoast, v11.5 recently) and if you are not seeing the translated strings, we suggest contacting Polylang for more information. We say this as Yoast does not translated strings in the default blocks for Gutenberg such as what appears in the images.

It’s very strange because I’ve also tried and can’t reproduce it on another WordPress site. I have all plugins and WordPress updated to the last versions. I don’t see any problems with Polylang on another site too.

Is there any way to try to detect what’s the cause of this error?

I just managed to reproduce it on another site. This problem appears when YOAST Seo and another plugin https://ru.www.ads-software.com/plugins/event-calendar-wd/ are both activated. Please, try to install this plugin and test the problem.

On the bug report, please include the plugins and versions used as well as the themes and any other additional details that we can use to replicate the issue.
