As soon as I activate the back to top links at the end of front-page sections, the true parallax scrolling for the featured images doesn’t work any longer – they turn back to default scrolling behavior. De-activating that feature restores the true parallax scrolling.

The true parallax scrolling is fixed, thank you! I’ve still some weird “phenomenons” as you might see at https://dev.upie.fr :

    – The “up” arrows are always on the very right of the screen, difficult to catch because it’s often hidden behind the browser’s scrollbar

    – The “up” arrow for the last front page section (“Clients”) is displayed at the top of the page, just below the navigation menu and is missing at the bottom end of the section.

Damnit! Has this happened recently? Is it specific to that particular page? Or is it something you’ve only just noticed?

    Thanks,

    Oliver

I just noticed it. I haven’t ever used the true parallax thing on other websites. The only thing which I can confirm is that I haven’t this problem on my own website where I don’t use true parallax…

I’ve no idea from where that comes. I removed all usual suspects from the pages which are used as front-page panels, featured images, read-more links, shortcodes, but the problem persists: https://dev.upie.fr

The back to top arrow problem is (at least now) independent from the parallax settings and shows all the time (on this website) as soon as I enable these for front-page sections.

Have narrowed it down: The back to top arrows on front-page sections behave normal when I uncheck “Use featured image as header image” in the header options. As soon as I check that, the back to top arrows go nuts.

Enough shouting in the desert. I’ll try to wait patiently for a diagnose and the solution…
