With this last automatic update, Wordfence modified the advanced options that I had previously saved including rechecking the following check boxes:

      Alert on warnings
Alert when an IP address is blocked
Alert when someone is locked out from login
Alert when the “lost password” form is used for a valid user

And it also removed the list I had created in the following text box: “Immediately block the IP of users who try to sign in as these usernames”

Is there a way to ensure that these don’t get reset when updating? My clients are tired of getting bombarded with e-mails.

There was a bug in a recent version that caused certain options to be reset during the update, and it has been fixed in the current version, 6.0.20. Unfortunately, the affected options could not be restored to the previous values. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused — I know when you have a number of client to maintain sites, this can cause a lot of work and complications.

There are new measures put in place to prevent this from happening in future releases, noted here if you are interested:

Thanks for the reply Matt. It sounds like I’m been a bit late to the party. At least I know I need to go in and fix the other sites too.
