• I’m using the Plus version and so far its kinda annoying just testing this plugin. For some reason it creates ghost appointments and blocks out time slots. When I delete an appointment type to start over, it says there are appointments booked for certain times,…problem is that no appointments are showing in the dashboard. Yes I contacted support and waiting on them, but its a bad first impression so leaving this review for now. If it wasn’t for these annoying bugs, it could be a great plugin.

    Update: 5/18/21
    So Nathan reached out to me and explained why this happens with Gravity Forms. After he explained it, it actually makes sense. Gravity forms are typically used for more complex and longer forms so SSA automatically blocks the time slot you pick so that other people won’t get it, just incase they fill out the form faster than you.

    This plugin works really well on its own, but it was the integration with GF that was causing this issue.

    With that said, since this review actually solves the “ghost appointment” problem confusion, I have updated my review to 5 stars because the customer service has been great so far.

    Hi @wicho696 – are you using our integration with Gravity Forms or Formidable Forms? I’m not seeing a support ticket from you in our system.

    If you’re using our forms integration, SSA reserves that time slot so you have time to complete the form. For example, if you had a 3 page Gravity Form with lots of fields, you may select a time with the SSA Appointment field, but we want to reserve that time so nobody takes it while you’re filling out the rest of the form. We hold that time for 60 minutes, and then it’s released so it’s available again. This prevents double-bookings or potentially filling out the form too slowly and losing your selected time.

    I’m guessing that’s what you mean by “ghost appointment”, I think you’ll see it becomes available again after an hour. Sorry this behavior was confusing and unexpected.
