Dear Stéphane, I have 3 issues, I don’t know if they are bugs or some settings I should tweak:

    1. the small flags column is not shown in my posts list in the backend. I can enable it with the plugin I use to add columns, but Falang is supposed to show that by default.
    2. the content of my pages/posts is correctly shown when I open the translation box, but not for my portfolio, for which I have to add the content manually.
    3. when I copy the content from the left to the right translation box, I have noticed that some html is not being shown in the front end (for instance, the colour of a text). – (I use Wpbakery)

    1. yes generally it’s displayed each time by default
    2. can you make me a screen capture
    3. what is the content ? it’s a html copy it’s supposed to be the same. For WPBakery there are a specific plugin for that Falang for WPBakery , it’s allow you to translate directly in the builder the content

    1. I have created that flags column with my plugin, the column is not visible otherwise
    2. I cannot make videos but you can see from this image that the portfolio does not fetch the content
    3. The content for instance was just a text element with color# applied in the style. Is the Wpbakery addon working as a stand alone, or do I have to have Falang installed as well?

    1. it’s you own plugin , you are speaking about the column Traduzioni ?
    2. the portfolio use the post_content ? or a meta ? it’s empy when you are in text mode too
    3. Falang for WPBakery is an extra plugin , only use to translate the wp bakery page make with this builder , the lite version has only a few wpbakery short code supported

    1. yes, I use Acolumns, it detects all post types and creates a column with them. “Traduzioni” was found as default, so I added it to the post list page
    2. The portfolio is a CPT of my theme but it’s the same as a page, i.e. I build the content with Wpbakery or I can just use html
    3. my pages are very porr in content, so it’s not a problem for me to copy the Wpbakery code and translate manually. I’d prefere to have less plugins/addons

Sorry, could you check what’s wrong with my shop page? Falang seems to have broken the filters in the sidebar. And if I deactivate Falang the shop page redirects to homepage. Please help !!!

Dear Stéphane, I remember I run into the same problem once, and here’s the old post with the solution. I have now resolved the shop page by putting my shop slug (“negozio”) in the falang product options > post type archive link and post type base link althogh I don’t know how the problem occurred because I actually didn’t translate the shop page. ?? Maybe there is some bug, really…

Falang don’t detect the shop page name and you have to set it manually in Falang > Translate Options > Products (options) in the post type archive link , your shop page is negozio , you have to put it.

i will make this info in the FAQ Page

    1- i don’t know this extra plugin

2/3- yes for very simple page the classic editor is enought, it’s easier with Falang for WPBakery but it’s an extra plugin

i don’t see problem but i don’t know where to look , i have enable filter and use it.
