• I am setting up a woocommerce based digital download store for selling (Downloadable) brochure templates and there are around 50 unique brochure templates on the site

For selling, i have two requirements

    1) To sell these templates independently @ $10 each – Already Done
    2) Subscription based selling as follows.
    a) Pack 1 – $50/year/user – 6 Downloads
    b) Pack 2 – $100/year/user – 15 Downloads
    c) Pack 3 – $150/year/user – 30 Downloads

Also during this period, the user can view at all the items but can download only as per the plan purchased. Secondly, after an year, the remaining downloads must get lapsed.

Any help in this direction would be great as i am struggling to find a right answer to this from a long time and even after posting the same question at various locations.

Please note the site is currently being setup and we are struggling to configure it in-house so a live link is unfortunately not available.

Are you using WooCommerce Subscriptions to handle the subscription part?

    Hi Mclanea,

Currently i am not using any plugin. Subscription is a paid plugin so i am not sure if it will fulfill my requirement of limiting the number of downloads per user.

It sounds like you are already deep into the build-out with WooCommerce, but I figured I would mention this anyways (maybe it could help in the future).
I used a WP-Filebase for one of our clients who just wanted to manage files and downloads. I was really impressed with its features and options.
Their “Extended Permissions” might be something that could help you.

    Hi,

Its not that:). Actually i am looking for the right solution and if i can find it then only the portal will go live. Thanks for this WP-Filebase link, i will drop them an enquiry to see if that plugin offers what i need.
