• Hi,

I have a client that sell machines to their clients. They want to create a Video Learning Portal where their client can log in to view the learning videos for the machines they sold.

The client wants to build the portal so that:

    a. Different customer can log into it using a username and password.
    b. When the user logged in, they can see a list of videos related only to the machines that they bought and nothing else.

I have researched around and found that most LMS offers a lot more features then we need but all missed Point B above. We do not want users to log in and then be able to see all the videos and then only to realise that they can’t access those that are not related. We only want them to see videos that is related to the product that they have purchased.

    Can this even be done?

Thanks in advance to all that help.

    Cheers
    Greg

    Hi Greg,

This is definitely possible with with WooCommerce.

I’d probably create a membership site wherein the customer purchases a product and (hiddenly) also gets a membership level which gives her/him access to certain pages. (A combination of Groups WP and Groups for WooCommerce could work, or if you’re willing to wait a maximum of a few weeks SkyVerge is releasing a membership plugin very soon.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Job,

    Thanks for the reply!

Would this then be able to satusfy Condition B, wherein after the users logged in, they will immediately be served with a list of videos that are related to their membership, and see nothing else?

    Thanks again!
    Greg
