• I own a multiple gaming community and we are moving our site from Enjin to a wordpress. On Enjin our site had multiple pages, one for each game our community plays.

Moving to wordpress is proving a challenge for me. I’m finding it difficult to layout the site exactly how I want it.

My current site is https://greatarchitect.us & my WP is https://test.greatarchitect.us

You can see on my current site I have a page for each game with its very own news articles and side modules(or widgets). I want something similar on WP. The problem I am currently running into is finding a pretty method for posting game specific articles to their respective game pages. Categories pages are kinda ugly, but maybe I’m missing something.

Can someone help me out? Maybe point me in the right direction or tell me what would work best for what I am trying to do? I may just be trying to use WP wrong.

    Thank you!

You are. Categories pages, like the rest of everything else you see, depend upon your current theme for their appearance. So a different theme would have a different looking category page.

If you like your current theme, but hate the way it displays the category pages, you can override that with a child theme. Takes a bit of work, but is the probably the shortest route to your destination.
