• Hello lovely people!
A while back you lovely lot helped me build https://www.eversostrange.com into a straightforward website that diverts traffic to various blogs I’ve written.
I’m now thinking of moving it on further, I’d like to move all that information from the blogs onto the one blog.
I thought a good way of doing this would be to follow the model of boingboing / neatorama et al and simply add a few buttons either as a side bar or at the top.
If it’s possible the buttons could then take you to tagged articles; a button for articles tagged with animals / dinosaurs / machines etc.
    Is this possible?
Would it be a major ask?
I know nothing of code so I was going to buy a book, but would you advise me to pay someone to do it?
    Any help would be amazing!
    Kind regards,
    Sir P-Sx

  • You should be able to do this easily with categories. For example, you could set up a “Curious” category, and a “Curiouser” and a “Marvellous” category and all the rest. Then you can use the WordPress ‘menus’ feature to create a menu bar linking to each category. Just make sure you use a Theme that supports WordPress menus.

Or you can replicate what you have now (which I think is quite beautiful), create the categories, and just have Curious link to https://www.eversostrange.com/curious, Curiouser link to https://www.eversostrange.com/curiouser etc.
