Building website with Word Perfect

I have been searching for most of the wee hours this morning and trying different options and here I am back with Word Press thinking there has to be a way to make it work as I have seen various ways that a website can be built.

My question is how can be done without causing a headache to come about if someone would want to build a website using Word Press? I keep seeing blogs but there is very little being discussed about this option. If anyone can provide information regarding this I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
