Bulk category assignment not working

Thank you for this report. You have found a defect in the handling of the “Categories” taxonomy updates introduced in the most recent MLA version, v2.00.

I have found and fixed the bug, and you have three choices for getting the fix to your site:

1. I have added the fix to the Development Version, available on the Developers tab here in the Repository. You can install the Development Version to get the fix. The Development Version also contains other significant changes to the taxonomy-handling code for Bulk Edits which should improve its performance. I have tested these changes thoroughly, but you may not want to be an early adopter.
2. I can send you an interim MLA version by e-mail which would contain this fix but not the other Bulk Edit enhancements.
3. You can wait for the next version, which will contain the fix.

Let me know what you would like to do. I encourage you to try the new, higher-performance code, but I understand that may not be possible. If you want an interim fix, you can give me your contact information at our web site:

I went ahead with option 1. and I can confirm that it works.

I have released MLA v2.01, which contains the “Categories” mapping fix discussed above.
