When bulk changing job types, the job type change takes effect of the job itself which is good.

However, the job type changes do not take effect in the Type column in the admin.

In order for the Type column to display the new Job Type you have to open each job individually and save each. Then, when you view the admin you’ll see the appropriate job types.

    Hi!

Can you give me precise steps to reproduce this? How exactly are you “bulk changing job types”?

    Thanks for the follow up.

1 – Open Jobs Listing Admin
2 – Select 2 or more job posts
3 – From Bulk Actions, choose Edit and Apply
4 – Tick a job type from Job Types
    5 – Click Update

Thank you! I was able to reproduce the issue, so I opened a bug report here:

    https://github.com/Automattic/WP-Job-Manager/issues/1896

You can subscribe to that report for updates. Meanwhile, I will mark this thread as “resolved” since we’ll be handling the issue on Github. Thanks for the clear and detailed report!
