• I’m re-developing a website to pass the Google Core Web Vitals, and I’ve moved almost all of the post content. We have roughly 44,000+ posts, and a majority of them are using the Classic Block to display content. Is there an official method to convert all of these posts to Gutenberg Block automatically?

I’ve looked into Bulk Block Converter By Organic Themes, it’s untested with WordPress 6.0 and appears to be unstable according to some reviews. I cannot risk corrupting the data on the website.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @saltysaurus ,

As far as I know, as of now there is no official way to bulk convert posts to Gutenberg blocks. However, there is an open ticket in the Gutenberg repository requesting for a bulk conversion feature, but there hasn’t been any activity on the ticket for over a year now.

There are a couple of plugins that can do the conversion. Please refer to this post for more information.
    I hope it helps!
