It’s clear from analytics that we need to add content from our books to draw visitors to the website, and Articles should be great for this. But we have vast amounts of content to draw from so it needs to be pulled into the site in bulk. We want to find a plugin compatible with those we are using to help with this, and wonder if you have advice? Our content is in structured Word files, or structured HTML, or PDF. We want to sell the books, and also PDFs of individual articles. (We will not be putting all our content online free, but as teasers and to boost search results.) I want a plugin that won’t mess up the site and that will give us dozens or hundreds of clean posts that the Articles framework will understand easily. If you have any suggestions I’d be most grateful. Thank you, Karen.

    Hi Karen,

TSF (and, by extension, our extensions) use default WordPress post data to generate the metatags and structured data. So, any plugin that can fill the post content fields with HTML or plaintext should work.

Still, I cannot tell how you’d do this. I have never had to convert documents to WordPress. As long as it would create WordPress posts with HTML or plaintext, then you’re on the right track.

Still, you select all the text of a Word document (CTRL/CMD + A -> CTRL/CMD + C) and then paste it plainly in the WordPress editor (CTRL/CMD + V). WordPress, at least Classic Editor, supports the conversion of a pasted XML document out of the box.
