    Here is a product sale/distribution problem I have not been able to solve. How can I set it up where a customer can purchase a downloadable product (pdf) in bulk (say 12) that they want to distribute (for free) to their clients; have a unique password/coupon automatically generated and assigned to just that sale that the purchaser gives to the clients to get the download, the use of which is limited to the number of downloads purchased; and a simple page (not a product page or cart page) where the client can input the password/coupon code to get the download. I can accomplish parts of this scenario but cannot figure out how to generate the password/coupon code with the purchase, link it to the sale, and limit its use to the number purchased.

    I think your problem is beyond the scope of this support forum. It sounds like an entire plugin project with a bigger scope that entails.

    * Ecommerce / Sales.
    * Content Restriction.
    * And authorisation in multiple layers.

    We can try and help with specific problems but I think you should talk to a web developer for a satisfying solution and consultation.
