Bulk edit age group, color, gender, size etc

    Hi,

    Today I installed the plugin for google listings and ads and I’m having an issue with 5 of my products.

    It’s informing me I need to add an age group, color, gender and size for all the variations in each product.

    Problem is, between the 5 listings I have over 1,000 variations. That means there are over 4,000 issues that need to be resolved!

    The listings are for a Men’s Tshirt, Ladies Tshirt, Youth Tshirt, Toddler Tshirt and Infant Tshirt. Most of the info google is asking me for (except for age group) is already defined by my attributes/variations. Unfortunately, that info wasn’t populated into the google fields when I activated the google plugin.

    To fix each issue on all 1,000 variations it will probably take over 40 hours. Plus, there’s many more variations I plan on adding in the future.

    Is there some sort of bulk editing software I can easily edit all of the fields to fix the issues? I have bear bulk editor but the google fields don’t show up to be edited.

  • Hello @tkster95 ,

    I understand you have a large number of variations and you need to populate the Google Listing & Ads fields. Populating them one by one will definitely take a long time and may not be suitable in some cases.

    Previously I’ve tested with the default product import-export of WooCommerce and you can use this to import the Google product metadata in bulk.

    To retrieve the metadata, populate a single variation then export the products and then fill other variations following that structure.

    I hope this will help you to reduce the time of editing each individual variation.
