Bulk Edit Product description (html text)

  • Hi,
    when i edit the text in a single product the text format is well kept. When use the same text for several products via text replace the format is not kept.

    It is simple formatted text. For example this text:

    Visit our store!

    Great discount on the next weekend.

    If i copy this text manually to a single product it will show exactly like here with the empty lines. But if i use the mass editor and use the text replace option the outcome will be this:

    Visit our store!Great discount on the next weekend.

    Hi, I have this problem too, was excited to find it listed in the first page of support, scrolled down but there’s no answer?
    The problem is exactly the same. Am I doing something wrong???

    This problem still exists.

    Furthermore some textfields are handled differently. Mostly SEO fields. Sometimes the text is quite long but the field will show only one limited line. Scrolling in the field is a bit difficult.

    Sorry to hear that this is still a problem, we will look into extending the width of text fields and making the bulk editor a textarea for fields like Description. Thanks for your patience!
