Bulk editing is not working for me again. I had my posts all set up and ready to go. I installed Simple Page Ordering and reordered my posts. Then I noticed all my expiration dates disappeared after I did that.

Next, I disabled that plugin and used quick edit to individually enable Post Expirator again. (Is there no way to use bulk edit to enable it on all?) The current date and time now showed up. Then I tried to bulk edit (filling in all the fields – I’m removing a category upon expiration) to change the date I want them to expire. The dates all disappeared again!

I noticed if I use quick edit, the box is not ticked for Post Expirator, but if I open the post, it is.

Tried it again today. It was all set up and ready to go, then I changed the menu order of each (this time using Admin Columns Pro, not drag and drop). The dates disappeared again.

    Hi @jodzeee

    Thanks for reporting these issues.

Do you see any of these issues on a default WordPress install? Or do they only happen with other plugins such as Simple Page Ordering and Admin Columns Pro that modify the “Posts” screen?

Sorry I never responded, I got busy and had to move on to the next thing ??

I think I finally figured out what my problem is/was. I believe I was choosing “Change on posts” instead of “Add to posts.” In my mind, I was changing them, but they had previously expired so Post Expirator was no longer enabled.

Just thought I’d mention it in case someone else runs into a similar issue!

Bulk editing seems to have stopped working again with WordPress 6.0.

I confirmed by trying an older staging site. It worked, then I updated core and now it doesn’t work.

    Thanks for reporting that @jodzeee

We can confirm this and will fix it with the next release.

@jodzeee I’m going back on posting on the couple of threads where people have reported this error.

Please let us know if this Beta version fixes the bulk edit issue for you: https://app.box.com/s/xdlsvzri7jgacjrba6fmvfbnfam3ftfh

The update is working for me. Sorry I didn’t respond sooner – for some reason, I’m not getting the email notifications from this thread!
