Hi,

Is there any way to set up a different variations that has different prices and weight? In our website we set up a different scale and size of the model. For example the Size or Scale is 1:100 the price is 219.5 the weight is 4.5 based on our shipping rates. But we have 6 different scale that has different prices and weight. Is there any possible where I can set up the variations so that I don’t do it manually added per product? What I’m doing now is edit the product set up the variable attributes then click the generate variations and add the prices and weight manually based on the scale I created on the attributes. It’s time consuming because we have 4,000 products now in our website.

Great question! You can use WooCommerce’s built-in Product CSV Import/Export tool to manage your product variations in bulk. This allows you to:
- Export your products as a CSV file.
- Edit the variations (including prices and weights) in bulk using spreadsheet software (like Excel).
- Re-import the edited CSV file to WooCommerce to update all products at once.

Hi,

I used the WebToffee plugin for the import/export process.

But how can I edit the variations if it’s not yet set? Sorry if I’m too into questions because I’m new here so I don’t know where I can start.

Hi @ellen25! If you’ve created the base variation products, but haven’t added the variations yet, you can still use the core WooCommerce CSV importer to add those variations by following the instructions in the Converting existing Simple Product to Variable Product section of the docs.

A good approach with CSV imports, is first create one complete product exactly like you want it in WooCommerce directly. Then, export that product as CSV file. That way, you have an exact template to use with which to create other products.

For adding new products, remove the product ids from the CSV (it implies the product already exists in your store), and make sure that if you use SKUs, that they’re unique (not already used in the store), as that also cconfuses existing with new products.
