In the bulk editor it only shows posts. How can you edit seo title/desc for other types and custom post types that also support seo?

@blazmate You can set what types of content are shown in the bulk editor tool by clicking on the filter drop down menu at the top of the bulk editor, and then selecting the type of content you want to be shown (see image here).

We’re sorry that you are experiencing problems that might be caused by our plugin!

Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

Can you inform us of the results?

I’m saying for yoast seo the settings appear in custom post types if you edit 1 by 1
but in the bulk editor you cannot choose it
so unless I edit 1 at a time
    it won’t show it.

    Hi,

Could you let us know which plugin you are using to create a CPT?

Just to clarify, your posts, pages, products, and other content types are showing up in the bulk editor with the ‘show all content types’ filter, it’s just a specific CPT that isn’t showing up?

We would still recommend performing a conflict check to see if there is a plugin or theme that is causing this issue and so we can try and pinpoint the minimum plugins and themes needed to reproduce the issue — https://yoast.com/help/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/

WIth ALL plugins off but seo & cpt, I see posts, pages in the bulk editor
    No CPT at all.

    Hi,

We downloaded the Custom Post Type UI plugin v1.8.2 and created a new CPT. We then went to the Yoast SEO Bulk editor and did find that the CPT was listed in the ‘show all content types’ filter, and you could even filter to find just the CPT, so it sounds like it may be something in your set-up specifically.

We’d need to investigate it further, but we are unable to do so on these forums. Perhaps you might want to consider upgrading to Yoast SEO Premium so we can provide you with 24/7 premium support.

Oh. I used theme 2021, CPT UI 1.8. Added new CPT, no options changed.
Doesn’t show up in SEO tools.
    No other plugins

    Hi,

We are using CPT UI v1.8.2 (if you are not on that version please update) and made our theme be 2021 v1.1. We are using Yoast SEO v15.7 (if you are not using that version please update) and WordPress Core v5.6 (please update if you are not using that, too).

We created a CPT and published a post under it. See image: https://ibb.co/vV1L9GH

We then went to SEO-Tools-Bulk Editor and select the CPT from the drop-down menu. See image: https://ibb.co/YcbMbfh. The right CPT type appeared. This appeared in both the title and description fields.

Can you confirm that the issue still happens with Yoast, your theme, your WordPress and the CPT plugin updated to the most recent versions?
