• Hello, this may sound like a silly question, but I have been using Classic editor until now.

I now have Gutenberg, and want to upload multiple images to a blog post all at once without having them appear in a gallery.

How do I do this? Seems a bit tedious to have to do it one by one.

Hi @jessamca11 – I’d recommend you first bulk-upload your images to the Media Library first by dragging-and-dropping them at Media > Add New.

Then, you can return to your post and add the images you want via the Image block.

Let me know if this helps!

Hello, thanks for your response. I have bulk uploaded the images, however is there a way I can bulk post them?

Once they are uploaded, I have to go through them one by one to add them with the image block.

It seems a bit tedious when you have a dozen images. The old classic editor allowed this, but I cant figure it out with gutenberg.

I understand what you mean, but I don’t think there’s a way to add multiple image blocks at the same time. I don’t actually think this is a common request, because generally adding multiple images one after the other doesn’t result in a very nice-looking display, so most folks use a gallery. ??

One workaround could be to try the Classic block, which should let you add the images the way you’re used to.

Then, after adding them in a Classic block, you can click “Convert to blocks” at the top of the block toolbar to turn them into individual Image blocks.

Let me know how it goes!
