I would like to ask if there is a way to remove the names of all customers, or to rename all customers on my wordpress website, as something went wrong in the CSV importing process and now some of my customers have their names mixed up. Thanks!

    Hello @cococat11,

I’m afraid there isn’t an option to bulk edit customer names, but you can delete the imported customers and import them back again without names and leave the naming to the customer.

I’m not sure if that’s possible with the customer import plugin you’re using, but you can always ask its author. ??

Note: Make sure to always have a backup before mass deleting customers, products or any important information in case things go wrong.

You can check this guide on how to backup your site: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/wordpress-backups/

    Cheers!

    Hello,

I would like to ask if it is possible to “overwrite” customers’ information by importing their information again but leaving the names part blank? I understand how removing all customer information and re-importing would work, but doing so would also remove their points under the woocommerce points and rewards plugin. Thanks again.

    Hi @cococat11

Can you please share how are you importing customers on your site as this is not part of the core functionalities of WooCommerce?

If this was added thru a third-party plugin or a custom code, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

If you’re unsure, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    Thanks!
