bulk/batch assign tags to groups

    Is there currently, and if not would you add, the ability to bulk/batch assign tags to a particular group in the tag list (/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=post_tag)? Ideally this would be another option, like “delete”, under the Bulk Actions drop down.

    I have 700+ tags and manually editing each one to assign it to a group is going to take quite some time

  • Not currently possible, but certainly a useful feature. I’ll put it on the To Do list.

    The new version 0.14 should be able to do that – but I haven’t been able to test it with large amounts. Better back up your data before using it. No idea what happens if the script runs into a timeout..
