• Hi,

All the Confirmation Page Display elements (total of 3) include a bullet point in front of them when published. Not sure what the purpose of this is. How can I remove?

    Thanks,
    Tyler

Since you asked, some more feedback:
    – Conditional Processing is buggy/inconsistent. Also, it would be great if you could have more than one conditional processing scenario per element.
    – Edit Form Attributes box by default overlaps the Form Preview Area, making deleting form elements impossible.
    – Very difficult to figure out how to copy over a form into a new “job”. I finally figured out I can do this by just renaming the job (it creates a copy).

A few quick items here to this excellent feedback : )

First, we actually can have multiple conditional rules using the ‘Custom Conditional Field Statement’ field.

We can learn more in your rackforms-for-wordpress folder at:

    content/plugins/express-for-wordpress/goodies/Sample Jobs/Conditional Fields

That is, these are full jobs we can load into the editor at any time via the ‘Load A Saved XML File’ button near the top of the editor. Of course please note you’ll need to save this folder to your desktop first, the load them into the editor.

To make the editor lager at any time, simply click the page header. The editor will expand to the full width of the page.

Great feedback on the duplicate job item, I’ll definitely address this in the next update!

    Thanks for your responses.

Clicking the page header does not make the editor larger. In fact, since my most recent re-install, now in most of the form elements editors, the left column is cut off by the right column (i.e. Field Style Properties overlaps Basic Attributes). This makes editing the label text box difficult since much of the text is cut off…

    Please fix this new problem/bug.

Interesting. This may be a browser/version issue.

If you don’t mind, I took a quick screen shot:

    https://www.rackforms.com/files/editor-size.png

If you could quick check that box being pointed too by the arrow and see if making that value bigger helps, I would be grateful.

For my part I’ve tested on Windows and Mac, with Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. We it be possible to ask what Browser/OS you’re on?

That way I can run additional test and fixes.

That width field appears appears to alter the left preview area pane, as opposed to the right editor.

The new issue for me relates to the left column of the editor being overlapped by the right column…

To put a finer point on it:

    We have three columns:

ADD ELEMENTS | FORM PREVIEW AREA | EDIT FORM ATTRIBUTES

A screen shot would be preferred, but if not possible, please let me know which of those columns are being overlapped.

I have never seen the behavior being described, so I’m quite keen to get this taken care of.

Please also be sure to clear out your browsers cache before going any further, as updated files are often saved rather aggressively by the browser, and a full cache flush is the only way to force it to use the newest files.

Under Edit Form Attributes, the 2 columns within this (e.g., Field Style Properties and Basic Attributes for some elements) are overlapping, at least the label field of Field Style Properties…

Unfortunately I’m not able to duplicate this behavior, so I’ll need an image/screenshot to make progress.

I would also ask to confirm you were able to clear your browsers cache to see if that helped. Unfortunately the browsers cache is not something we developers have control over, which means old settings can often create issues, perhaps like the one we’re experiencing now.

    Alas please keep me posted!

Actually, I can’t get into Rackforms at the moment. I had a few versions on my ftp when dealing with the problems mentioned earlier, and then I manually deleted all but one (the one I thought was the right install), but now the Rackforms menu has disappeared from WordPress admin. Yet, the iFrames shortcodes still work on my website, so the forms are still showing on my site.

How can I get Rackforms properly showing again in WordPress without losing my previous jobs that are still properly working on my site? I do have an Express for WordPress folder in my ftp plug-ins folder, but for some reason WP admin is not recognizing it.

    Thanks.

Sure thing. So that folder is for the editor (which includes our saved/published jobs), we simply need to re-download the plugin and active it.

Should do the trick, but please let me know if not!

Ok, that seems to have done it! Thanks.

The cutting off of the text box persists. How can I send you a screenshot?

My website is currently password protected so it’s not ideal to upload it there…

    Separate issue:

Rather than a bullet (per this posting title), now the confirmation page displays “Message body empty” on the first line. It does show my confirmation message after that, but how can I get rid of this first line?

    (@tszabo)

Note: “Message body empty” is only for email+

    (@tszabo)

Scratch the issue with the text box (I figured it out), but please do let me know how to get rid of the “Message body empty” message for email+, as well as the e-mail issues described in my other thread.

    Thanks!
